“Eye of the Tiger”

Auburn. Alabama March 1, 2021 – April 5, 2021

The first weekend in Auburn we were visited by some of our favorite people – Angel, Anita & Sherry. (I am not sure why I did not take better pictures). They camped at the park and one late afternoon we had drinks at Live Oak.

We did not visit as many of our old haunts as we would normally, maybe next time. We visited the Draft House and had a few beers – I am getting really good at beer drinking. That does not sound right – I am able to tell which beers I like now. I am definitely an IPA drinker.

Auburn in March was absolutely stunning. The Dogwoods and the azaleas were blooming. We went to the Auburn Arboretum to take in the local plants. The arboretum was small but pleasant. Weirdly enough, this was the only place in the entire city where the azaleas were not blooming.

Our new sign arrived while we were in Auburn. We said goodbye to Auburn on a beautiful evening sipping wine at the campsite with Ziva (she did not drink the wine).

On to our next adventure in Chattanooga.
