Spirit of the Suwanee, Lake City, Florida October 13 – 18, 2021
We have been to several music festivals at Spirit of the Suwanee over the years. We have been the Spring Music Festival, Hulaween, and Roots Revival. The Roots Revival is held in the fall and is what I would call “hippy bluegrass” The headliners were Sam Bush Band, Infamous Stringdusters and Donna the Buffalo. All of the music was fun, although not all of it was good. We reunited with old friends that we met at the music festival in previous years. It was fun to see them and catch up (Danny, Helen and Joe). We hope that we will see them at another festival on the road. We did bounce around the idea of meeting at Red Rocks which would be awesome!
The festival began on a Thursday and ended Sunday evening. Music rotated on three stages and began at 11:00 am each day. We love this festival because the music is pretty good and not very crowded.
Next up Savannah!
