“Ordinary World”

Durand Wisconsin, July 7 – July 8, 2021

Between Door County and Duluth Minnesota, Steve and I needed a midway stop. For that purpose we joined Harvest Host which allows us to camp overnight at wineries, breweries, distilleries, farms, museums etc.

We stopped in Durand, Wisconsin at Durand Brewing. The Brewery is owned by a local lawyer. While he maintains full time practice in Durand, but he also formulates all of the recipes for the beer at the brewery. The owner and the bartender were super nice and let us sample almost all of the beer. The beer was really good. We parked in the open field next to the brewery where concerts are held. This was a fun stop and we plan to stop at more locations in the future.

Before leaving we went to Eau Galle a creamery located just a half mile from the brewery and picked up local cheese. Absolutely delicious! I was pleased to learn that they ship. Yea!!

On to Duluth Minnesota.

“Ordinary World” by Duran Duran – I know this title is kind of cheesy, but I liked it.
